We're thrilled to announce a game-changing update: Habituul now automatically tracks your daily steps by syncing with Apple Health! No more manual logging, no more guessing—just open the app and watch your progress update in real-time.


What's New: Seamless Step Count Integration

If you've ever tried to build a daily walking habit, you know the struggle: remembering to log your steps, manually entering numbers, or trying to keep track of your progress throughout the day. It's tedious, and it gets in the way of what actually matters—actually walking.

That's why we built automatic step tracking. Now, when you add the 10,000 Steps habit to your routine, Habituul connects directly to Apple Health to track your progress automatically.


How It Works

1. Add the 10,000 Steps Habit

When you browse suggested habits, you'll find a new 10,000 Steps habit with a special Apple Health icon. This habit is designed to help you hit the daily 10,000-step goal that's been shown to improve cardiovascular health and overall fitness.

2. Grant Permission (One Time)

The first time you add this habit, Habituul will ask for permission to read your step count from Apple Health. This is a one-time setup that takes just a few seconds. We only read your step data—we never write to or modify your health information.

3. Automatic Progress Updates

Once connected, your step count updates automatically:

  • When you open the app — Your progress syncs as soon as you launch Habituul
  • Throughout the day — The app periodically syncs your steps while you're using it
  • Real-time progress — See your current step count (e.g., "7,543 / 10,000 steps") right in your habit list

No tapping, no manual entry, no hassle. Just walk, and Habituul takes care of the rest.
